Jennifer Emerson:
Hi!! Thank you, I am very excited to be here!
CMP: What
prompted you go get into the industry?
Jennifer Emerson:
Well, to be
honest, everyone kept asking me if I was a model, and I was tired of saying
no! So, I decided to give it a shot. I figured that it must mean something
that everyone thought I was a model, that was my motivation. The first
modeling job I had, I made the cover of a magazine, that was 2 years ago,
and here I am! So now, modeling is a full time job for me, it's amazing!
CMP: So
let’s get all of the important stuff out of the way. Who is Jennifer
Emerson?
Jennifer Emerson:
Ha ha!
Well, I am just a normal girl who loves life, and loves to have fun! Its
kind of weird when I walk in somewhere and people know my name! Strangers
recognize me from my website, magazine, calendars, competitions, etc.
CMP: What is
your relationship status?
Jennifer Emerson:
Dating
CMP: Now I
must say that I have seen some of your images and on the net and have always
said damn she is hot. Does the attention ever grow old? Do you wish that you
were just a mere mortal sometimes?
Jennifer Emerson:
Ahhh, thanks! I feel like just a normal person, and I have learned to get
used to the attention, or just wear a hat and sunglasses when I'm not in the
mood for it!! What girl doesn't love attention? Of course I like it, but
sometimes it's overwhelming.
CMP: What is
the day in the life of Jennifer like?
Jennifer Emerson:
Well, if I am out of town modeling, you would probably see me getting my
hair & makeup done, putting on tons and tons of swimsuits, and goofing
around with my model friends, then going out and exploring the new cities.
It's a great time! But if I'm home in Jacksonville, you would find me in
the gym with my friend Sabrina, at the mall, the beach, partying, walking my
dog, jet skiing, or chillin with my man :)
CMP: Being
five feet seven inches tall and registering in at a 34D-24-32 and
attractive, I am sure has its pros (tons of free stuff) and its cons (crazy
stalker & player haters). Share with us about the pros and cons of being you
in this business.
Jennifer Emerson:
A lot of girls hate me immediately, without even getting to know me. It
sucks because when you get to know me, I am such a great friend and love
helping people. Jealous people judge me right away, that bothers me
sometimes. They just assume that I am stuck up because I am a model, but
it's just the opposite! The stalker thing is crazy sometimes, especially if
I am alone, then it's kind of scary! I've been followed, prank called, my
car has been vandalized, all by stalkers!! So, that part definitely gets
annoying! The free stuff is great, and getting special treatment just
because I'm a model, that's awesome!
 CMP: What
advice would you give any of the girls on who would be interested in getting
into modeling?
Jennifer Emerson:
Modeling is great, but like any other profession it does have ups and
downs. Just stay in school, that is the most important thing. No matter
how far modeling takes you, always have an education to fall back on.
Confidence is the most attractive quality to photographers, so try to appear
confident, and always show up with a great attitude.
CMP: What do
your family and friends think of your profession?
Jennifer Emerson:
They think it's so cool! If I don't know the photographer, sometimes I will
bring my mom or a friend on the shoot with me until I feel comfortable. They
like to come watch me on the job :)
CMP: What
would you see yourself doing in, say, in ten years time?
Jennifer Emerson:
Well, hopefully I will own my own business, and be completely done with
school. Still modeling, traveling around the world, enjoying the good
life.
CMP: So are
you the adventurous or the stay at home type? Skydiving or watching a
 good
movie on TV while sitting on the couch?
Jennifer Emerson:
It depends, sometimes I like to stay home, but for the most part I like
being out with friends. I don't know that I would skydive, but I am pretty
adventurous. I love trying new things, especially if they are challenging.
CMP:
Are you a work out queen or just blessed
with a perfect body?
Jennifer Emerson:
I am definitely not a workout queen, that's just not me. I do workout 2-3
times a week, just to stay toned, not to lose weight. I wouldn't say I was
blessed with a perfect body, I just don't gain weight! Fast metabolism!
CMP: Is
there anything else that you would like to tell to your fans (we are one
too!) about you?
Jennifer Emerson:
I am just so grateful to have fans and people that support me. I would have
never thought that people would actually pay me to model, but now that's my
profession! I read all my fan mail, email, gifts, everything that my fans
send me- Thank You!! My fans are my motivation.
